| Waking up Sunday morning, John and I were just excited that it wasn't raining! Although Silvy and Ronald's plan included an indoor tent ceremony and reception, it would have been a sin not to have pictures outside due to rain, at such an amazing venue! Silvy and Ronald have been planing their December wedding from Southern California. The location they chose for their wedding and reception was the Newcastle Golf Course in Newcastle Washington. This venue is known for it's beautiful location and amazing views. Did I almost forget to mention the stunning sunsets? Well, although we did not reap the benefits of an unforgettable sunset (the sun was stuck behind clouds all day) we did get something else... SNOW! That's right, while Silvy and her 8 bridesmaids were getting ready, it began to snow! It kept up for about an hour or two and it snowed just enough to cover the entire golf course with a blanket of white! I believe it continued to snow during Silvy and Ronald's unveiling however it stopped soon after. In fact... not only did it stop, but the sky cleared up just enough to give us back our view of Lake Washington and even Downtown Seattle! God sure gave this Southern California couple a taste of the Great Pacific Northwest. Like Silvy and Ronald, many guests, close family and friends, traveled from all over to witness and share this beautiful occasion. Definitely one of our favorite couples and weddings. We've had such a great time working with them both during their engagement session this past week in Seattle, as well as on their wedding day! They're now off in Hawaii enjoying weather more like what they are used to... warm! John and I wish you, Silvy and Ronald all of the best in the world! May God continue to bless you both this holiday season and always! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Labels: Recent weddings |
