One year ago (yesterday) , I married the most wonderful man that God could have ever blessed me with. One year ago, I became Mrs. Jennifer Rose Karwoski and with out a doubt, this year has far exceeded all of my expectations! Instead of going to a busy restaurant, John and I spent an intimate and quite evening at home, enjoying a romantic dinner for two. As a wedding gift (to be opened on our first anniversary) we were given a bottle of a Cabernet Sauvignon, by the Columbia Winery, Otis Vineyard. Oh was it yummy! ;-) We even took our wine out to our back patio and enjoyed a great view and sunset. We still have about 1/2 a bottle left. I'm sure that we will make good use of it this week! Oh and I can't forget the cake...I ordered an anniversary cake from Creme de la Creme, the place we got our original wedding cake, which went nicely with our wine. What an amazing first year of marriage. John and I are both in agreement that it truly couldn't have been any better. They say that the first year of marriage is supposed to be the most challenging, however we both would have to disagree. For some couples, working together and living together would just be too much to handle. Fortunately for us, not only does it work, but I like to think it's like marital counseling to an extent. We are forced to work through any disagreement or conflict, personal or professional, because no matter what, we have not only a job to do, but a responsibility to our clients. I believe that a big part of who we are, and what makes us unique in our profession, is our relationship. Not just that we are a husband and wife team, but that we are a team in general and you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way! We embrace our situation and don't take what we have for granted, personally or professionally. Happy First Anniversary my love. Thank you for making me always feel like the luckiest woman in the world! You have my heart fully and forever! Here's to many more years together, and to never ending love. I'd also like to thank all of our friends & family who have wished so well. Our lives are complete because of great friends like you. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Our friends Chris and Tara are getting married in Cabo San Lucas November of next year and what better way to start off their engagement festivities than to have a rocking engagement party! Of course this party had a fiesta theme with an awesome Mexican spread including an overflow of cerveza, and of course mucho margaritas! The day started with friends meeting down at Lake Cushman, where Chris' mom Barret and step-father Kenny, so graciously put up about 20 of Chris and Tara's closest friends. This wasn't so much a cabin as it was a compound with everything you could ever need! Multiple cabins, huge fire pit, hot tub and yes... of course an outdoor bar, with heater! ;-) After we were all set up at the cabin, we took Chris and Tara to take some engagement pictures before the party started. Once finished with pictures we were off to the party. Tara's mom, Suzanne and father, Larry hosted a great party at their cabin in Grapeview, WA. Family and friends had a great time celebrating their engagement and everyone is just so excited for these guys and for all of the great times ahead! Congratulations Chris and Tara on your engagement, we can't wait to shoot your wedding! It's going to be fabulous! All our best and love to you both! ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() Right Image ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() Right Image

Gabe and Aimee were married this last Friday at the Pioneer Park Pavillion in Puyallup, Wa. It was an amazing day, the weather outside was sunny but hot enough to melt a bride in her dress and everyone was excited to be part of their day! We had a lot of fun with this couple and their party. Aimee and Gabe, whom have been together for 4 years, share some great friends. I think that most of the entire bridal party had known and been friends with each other for years, which made for an even better group! The ceremony may have set a record for being short and sweet... just about 5 minutes, this left lots of time for the party which continued for hours. :) Congratulations to you both, Mr. and Mrs. Litras!!! We wish you all the best in the world! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() Right Image Labels: Recent weddings

Katie and Shane were married this past Saturday at the Embassy Suites in Tukwila. John and I sought out Katie once we arrived on location and had the pleasure of spending some time with her and her bridal party. The ceremony was great...K atie came down in the glass elevator to meet her groom in the atrium of the hotel. What a grand entrance! ;-) Katie and her family, whom came from far and wide had a great time cutting loose on the dance floor. Congratulations Katie and Shane. Our best wishes and prayers are with you. ![]() ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() Labels: Recent weddings

John and I had the pleasure of shooting the Brandon and Jennifer's wedding this past Friday. I met up with Jennifer and one of her bridesmaids, Gina at Bare Essentials in Nordstroms at the South Center Mall in Tukwilla. Here Jennifer was transformed into the princess bride she's always dreamed of becoming. :) She and her Maids had spent all morning in preparation for her big day starting from the feet up! I'm getting exhausted just thinking about it! Once the prepping was complete, Jennifer was off to meet her groom to be married. The ceremony and reception went off with out a hitch and now Jennifer and Brandon are off in Jamaica having the time off their lives. Congratulations to you both! ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Labels: Recent weddings

John and I spent a bunch of time in Snohomish, Wa this weekend :) Saturday we had the pleasure of shooting Randy and Sadie's wedding at the historic Belle Chapel. This chapel has been around since 1885 and has seen thousands of weddings. We first met Randy and Sadie back in June and just loved their personalities from the get go! We were very excited to shoot their wedding and now that it's all said and done, we're so glad that we had the opportunity to get to know this amazing couple a little better. Once the happy couple returns from the honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas they'll have one day to pack up and then are gone for 5 years. They are moving to Indiana for Sadie to attend grad school. So you see, this wedding was more than just a celebration of the love and passion that these two have, but also a special time to be spent with family and friends that will be staying behind. After the ceremony, we were taking pictures and kept noticing the undeniable glow of the bride. Sadie just looked like she was on cloud 9 the entire day, for good reason. Thank you Randy and Sadie for letting us be a part of your special day. We really were a great fit! :-) We wish you all the best. Wherever your adventures of husband and wife may lead! ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() ![]() Labels: Recent weddings

John and I had the pleasure of shooting Eric and Katie's wedding this past Friday at Lord Hill Farms in Snohomish, Wa. The venue was amazing! Katie and her bridesmaids got ready at the beautiful Victorian house just down the street. When it was time, Katie was escorted to the ceremony in style... sitting on top of a Mustang convertible driven by her mother Kathi. The ceremony was very sweet. Brody, Katie's three year old son, proudly held the title of ring bearer. The butterfly release captivated the attention of everyone, young and old alike. During the reception John and I were able to capture some shots outside just as the sun was going down and the moon on it's way up. We caught some great pictures of the bride and groom against the gorgeous sky... otherwise known (by photographers) as sweet light. John and I had a great time getting to know everyone. Thanks so much for allowing us to be a part of your day!! ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() ![]() Right Image ![]() ![]() ![]() Labels: Recent weddings

John and I met Hunter and Elisa through friend's Ben and Gretchen Levy, who's wedding we did just weeks earlier. They're getting married early next Summer and we were thrilled to get to spend some time with them both during their engagement session at Cedar River in Renton, Wa. Turns out we found that we had much in common with the bride and groom to be. Hunter and Elisa both enjoy the simplicity and luxury of the outdoors, camping, hiking and anything having to do with being out side. We also seem to have a similar taste in good food and wine... so it was no surprise that we had a great time with each other. We may also have had a hand in a possible future purchase for the two. John let Hunter test drive our new car and... I think there may be a new Acura TL Type S in the near future for these two! :-) Not being 100% comfortable in front of a camera, Hunter was a great sport and they just both looked amazing... Undeniably in love! John and I are very excited to shoot their upcoming wedding and are looking forward to an upcoming date night with the two! Thanks guys for spending the afternoon with us... can't wait for more good times! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Labels: Engagements
