| Kurt and Sam were married this past Sunday at the Monte Villa Farmhouse in Bothell, WA. The ceremony which was to take place out side in the beautiful gardens was moved inside due to our wonderful Seattle weather. But that didn't put a damper on Sam's mood, that's for sure. I absolutely adore this woman! So easy going and the only thing that seemed to be on her mind, was marrying her sweetie Kurt. It was awesome getting to be a part of these guys' wedding and special day. Kurt and Sam are just such loving, funny and easy going as they come with family and friends to match. Congratulations to you both on your marriage. Thank you for sharing your day with us. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Venue: Montevilla Farmhouse Caterer: Alexa's Cafe & Catering Photographer: Yours truly Make-Up: Nina Bynaker DJ: Jim Fore/Foremost DJ Labels: Recent weddings |

| What an amazing couple, Steve & Kate. We first met up with them back in May for their engagement session and the lovely couple was married this past weekend in Seattle at the beautiful Mt. Baker Presbyterian Church. If you recall, the temperatures for Saturday reached into the 90's and boy was it hot! Kate and her bridesmaids had it nice. We were in the basement while getting ready and it was about 20 degrees cooler down there then in the rest of the church. The poor guys however, were up on the 3rd floor (did I mention that there isn't any air conditioning? lol) and as story has it (John had the pleasure of shooting the guys up on that 3rd floor) they were playing connect 4 to determine who had to put their tux on first. :) Before you know it, it was time for the ceremony which was beautiful. The reception was held at the Harbor Club in Downtown Seattle. What an amazing place that is anyways, but if you've ever been there, the views are to die for and the sunset on Saturday was absolutely stunning. You could see the stadiums from up there and some of the guests even took the opportunity to sneak a peek at the ongoing game down below. Steve & Kate, who both graduated from University of Washington, were welcomed as husband and wife with the accompaniment of the UW's Marching Band! This was so cool to watch and definitely a first for John and I. The whole day was perfect and we sure enjoyed spending time with these guys! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks Steve & Kate for allowing us to take part in your day. It was an honor and a privilege and we wish you both the best! If you would like to view more of their wedding pictures as they become available, please sign their guest book here. | Hunter and Elisa were married last Friday at her parents beautiful home in Redmond, WA. We first met these guys last year prior to mutual friends' wedding. In fact it's a story that we still like to tell... Hunter and Elisa were referred to us by Ben & Gretchen Levy . We had our meeting with Hunter & Elisa prior to the wedding and it was during their wedding that they booked us! I guess after watching us "in action" they just couldn't resist. :) Over the past year or so we have had the pleasure of getting to know and finding out just how amazing these two are. Individually and as a couple. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this special occasion and we look forward to an ever growing and lasting friendship with them both! Please enjoy some of our favorite pictures from their day. | Turning one means exploring anything and everything. It means "I wonder what that (rock) tastes like". It means being fearless and not having a care in the world. And most of all, it means having the energy of a... well a one year old! :) Dylan, besides being absolutely precious, was so busy and ready to explore everything. He spent quite a bit of time playing with the garden hose (could we possibly have a future fire fighter on our hands?) and there was no keeping him from playing in any puddle he could find. At first I wasn't too sure that this little guy was going to let me take any pictures of his face... he was all over the place his curiosity taking him this way and that... well as you can see I DID get some great shots and I had a fabulous time. ![]() ![]() "One day..." ![]() Here comes the next Mozart?!? ![]() Mommy and Daddy are expecting a little girl come October which means Dylan is going to be a big brother! ![]() ![]() Labels: Portraits |

The beautiful Elisa was married this past Friday and while her family was in town for the wedding, she thought it would be a great idea to get some family pictures done. Joining Elisa was her brand new husband Hunter, her parents, Jenifer and Grant and all the way from Utah, her brother Nic, and sister in law Haley. Oh and who could forget here little neice Makinzie!?! What a precious and adorable child. She was full of smiles and made the cutest little sounds. She kept making this squawking noise (like a bird) that I couldn't help but grin at time after time. Taken just one day before her wedding here are some of my favorites of the family!![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Labels: Portraits |

| So, from the earlier post you see that John was with out wife this past weekend. However, he and Mina had the opportunity to spend some quality father-daughter time together and boy were they busy! While I missed hanging out with my hubby and my beautiful step-daughter, I know that the two had a great time together. It's great that they get some one on one time once in a while. :) Mina's already 11 and the time just flies by. Making memories like these is what's it's all about. I am really enjoying the pictures from their special weekend. Okay... so where was Jenna last weekend you may ask??? Well, I was with my best girlie friends in Lake Chelan celebrating Tara's Bachelorette Party! Tara and Chris are getting married in Cabo this November and we are just thrilled that we will be there to capture this precious milestone in our dear friends lives. A handful of Tara's best girlie pals, made the drive to Chelan on Thursday where we stayed in an amazing home with a view to die for. Thanks to Ally and her parents, (a good Friend of Tara's) we were living it up like rock stars all weekend. What a great place to spend the weekend with such dear friends. We spent the weekend relaxing down at the lake (thank goodness because some of us really needed the time in the sun). One of the highlights was our "Wild Womens Wine Tour" which was an experience none of us are likely to forget. We stopped off at a few wineries and my personal favorite was the Karma Vineyards. We were given a tour of the wine caves by the owner Julie Pittsinger, who was absolutely fabulous! If you are ever in Chelan and want a lovely wine tasting experience, I would absolutely recommend Karma Vineyards. The atmosphere and the treatment is worth the drive alone but the wines and especially the champagne were yummy, yummy, yummy! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from this weekend. And don't forget to stay tuned for Tara & Chris' wedding pictures in Cabo San Lucas this November! Some links to a few of the places we visited and the limo company we use that I would HIGHLY recommend: Karma Vineyards Tsillan Cellars Lakeside Limousines There were animal heads on the wall... :) ![]() Tara and her sister, Carly at Karma Vineyards ![]() All of the ladies at Karma Vineyards ![]() |

| We enjoyed so much, getting to know Eric and Callie during their engagement session last Fall. We had the pleasure of meeting back up with them at Yangs Botanical Garden in Port Orchard, WA where their ceremony and reception was held. The grounds at Yangs set such a beautiful backdrop for this special occasion and was also a wonderful place for pictures. Eric and Callie had a Hawaiian Luau themed dinner complete with roasted pig, YUM! Here are a few of our favorite pictures from their day. | Mina and I took a trip down to a Seattle Park to watch the Blue Angels take off as part of the 2008 Seafair Airshow. I tried telling her it was a "secret spot", but after we showed up and there were LOTS of other people, she assured me it was NO SECRET! We got some great pictures of the angels taking off, then scooted back home to watch the rest of the show from our deck. Here are a couple of Mina's favorites: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Labels: About John and Jenna |
